About Lumen White

Lumen is Pitchmark's premium concentrate line marking paint — a step above Clubline for clubs that demand greater brightness and durability from their pitch markings. Specifically formulated for use on natural grass, Lumen delivers intensely bright white lines that stay visible through heavy use and variable Irish weather conditions.

The perfect choice for match pitches, county grounds, and clubs that mark regularly and need lines that last. Available in 5L and 10L drums, as well as 600L and 750L IBCs for large-scale operations. Manufactured by Pitchmark in Britain to the highest standards.

How to Use

Mix thoroughly with water at a ratio of 2L of paint to 4.5L of water per full-size football pitch. One 10L container marks up to 5 full-size pitches — outstanding coverage for a premium concentrate.

For best results, use a Green Flat Fan Nozzle (F110-015) with a Pitchmark or compatible spray marker.

Lumen vs Clubline — Which Should I Choose?

Both are excellent concentrate paints for natural grass. Lumen is brighter and more durable — the better choice for match pitches, county grounds, and clubs that mark 2–3 times per week. Clubline is the cost-effective everyday choice for training pitches and clubs marking once a week. If in doubt, Lumen is the upgrade worth making.

Compatible With

Lumen White works with all major spray line markers including Pitchmark Hybrid, Pitchmark Fusion, Pitchmark Eco Lite, Fleet Kombi, Zehnder, Turf Tank and most other standard spray markers. Also suitable for transfer wheel line marking machines.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pitches does 10L of Lumen mark?
Up to 5 full-size football or GAA pitches at the standard 2:4.5 dilution ratio.

What nozzle should I use with Lumen?
We recommend the Green Flat Fan Nozzle (F110-015) for spray markers. See our spare parts below.

Is Lumen suitable for GAA pitches?
Yes — Lumen is widely used across GAA clubs in Ireland and delivers bright, durable lines on both football and hurling pitches.

How does Lumen compare to Clubline?
Lumen is brighter and more durable. It marks more pitches per 10L (5 vs 4) and holds its colour longer after marking — making it better value for match day pitches despite the higher per-litre price.

Can I use Lumen with a transfer wheel marker?
Yes — Lumen is compatible with both spray markers and traditional transfer wheel line marking machines.

Does Lumen need to be mixed with water?
Yes — mix at 2L paint to 4.5L water. Do not apply undiluted through a spray marker.

How long do Lumen lines last on the pitch?
Typically 6–8 days depending on weather and foot traffic — longer than standard concentrates.
